On March 27, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Tatjana Spahiu from the Polytechnic University of Tirana presented a lecture on the role of 3D technology in fashion product development. She shared case studies on 3D printing applications in garments, footwear, and accessories. The presentation explored how 3D-printed geometries affect fabric drape, adhesion to textiles, and design flexibility. Techniques such as digital prototyping, reverse engineering, and customized sole modeling were also discussed. This integration of engineering and design opened up interesting possibilities for sustainable, tailored production.
