Role of AI in the Fashion Industry

For someone like me, interested in pattern making, the ability of AI to assist in material selection and optimize garment components is especially relevant. Additionally, AI’s role in real-time inventory management and adaptive sizing mannequins can streamline the production process, aligning with modern efficiency standards.

The lecture also highlighted tools like generative AI to aid design and the importance of maintaining a critical approach to AI results. It concluded with ethical considerations and the need for human expertise in leveraging AI effectively.
